Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 14, 2026
This policy explains what information PhotoKunda collects, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
We collect the account details you provide (such as your name, username, email, and profile information), the photos and metadata you upload, and the comments, likes, follows, and collections you create. We also receive technical data such as your IP address and basic device information when you use the service.
How we use it
We use your information to operate the service: to authenticate you, display your content, power discovery and your feed, send essential account emails (such as email verification and password resets), and keep the platform safe.
Authentication & email
Sign-in is handled through Firebase Authentication (email/password and Google). Email/password accounts require email verification before sign-in. We don't store your password — it's managed by our authentication provider.
Image storage
Uploaded photos are stored with our object-storage provider and served from a content-delivery network so they load quickly. Photos you publish are publicly viewable.
Sharing
We don't sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers that help us run the platform (hosting, storage, authentication, email) and where required by law.
Your choices
You can edit your profile, change your password, and delete your photos at any time from your account settings. If you'd like your account removed, contact us and we'll help.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the date above.
